Fees

Transparency, from day one.

Every engagement is governed by a written fee agreement, signed before any work begins.

How are the firm's fees set?

Fees depend on the nature and complexity of the matter, what is at stake and the time spent. They are set out in a written agreement before any work begins, in line with the ethical rules of the Luxembourg Bar.

Which billing methods does the firm use?

An hourly rate where the scope cannot be determined in advance, a fixed fee for clearly defined work, a success fee on top of a base fee where the rules allow it, and an advance on fees at the opening of the file, credited against the final invoice.

Is an advance payment required?

Yes, an advance on fees is generally requested before work starts. It is fully credited against the final invoice.

Does the firm offer fixed fees?

For clearly defined work — drafting a contract, incorporating a company, one-off assistance — a fixed fee can be agreed before the engagement starts.

What is a success fee?

A variable part of the fee linked to the outcome. Governed by professional rules, it can never be the sole form of remuneration and always comes on top of a base fee.

How can I get an estimate for my matter?

A first meeting lets us assess the nature and scope of the work. Estimated fees are communicated after this meeting, before any commitment.
